Kaila Devi Temple
The sacred place of Hindus is Kaila Devi Temple which is sited in the Karauli district of Rajasthan (India).King Bhompal is the great aficionado of Kaila Devi and she had instructed him to build the shrine for her. The glory of this shrine is at par and thus millions of people flocked towards it for having visit and devotion. The sanctum is completely devoted to MahaLakshmi (goddess of wealth). It is taken into the consideration among the 9 Shakti peeths of goddess Durga. The minder and rescuer of mankind is Mata Kaila Devi. People use to recite ‘Jai Mata Di’ in the honour of Devi. Mata is KULDEVI of many people of Rajasthan. People who consider mata as their KULDEVI use to perform the ceremony of ‘mundan’ of their new born child and newly married couple also offer their prayer (DHOKH) to Mata for their happy married life. The temple is also accompanied by other shrines of Bhairon, Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesh and Lord Hanuman. It is the most famous mandir of Rajasthan.
Getting There
One can reach Kaila Devi Temple by mean of three modes: Road, Rail and Air. By reaching the location of Karauli the distance of the temple can be covered up by local bus or local taxi. The journey through train is carried out to Gangapur City Railway station which is in connection to the railway station of many cities like Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, Chennai, Ajmer, Pali, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. The journey through air can be carried out by mean of Jaipur Airport.
Security And Some Tips
There are security guards for crowd management and for security purpose. The authority of the shrine establishes 30 CCTV cameras for viewing the whole activity of the devotees. Yatri should not carry cash and ornaments with them.
When To Visit
The best time to visit the temple is during the month of October to March. It is opened all the days of the week. Its timings are 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The duration of visit of this temple is 1 to 2 hours.
What To See And Do
For taking entry into the temple the yatri should have to walk along distance along a narrow road which is covered by shops of Prasad of mata like misri, makhane, dry coconut etc and the materials of Mata’s sringaar and also the shops of refreshment like kachori, samosa, cold-drimks etc. While entering into the shrine there is a large chowk (ground). On the left of the chowk there is Annapurna where food is prepared and the thalis are available by paying money.
There are three gates of entering into the main shrine. People use to walk through railings. There is a separate place for putting up the sleepers and shoes. The sanctum is made up of costly marble. It is surrounded by covered verandas where yatri can take rest. The coconut and agarbatti is placed at the entry of the mandir. After entering into the mandir there are two deities in the sitting posture one of which belongs to Kaila Devi Mata and other one belongs to Chamunda Mata. The bigger idol is of Kaila Devi whose head is slightly slanted. The roli, chawal, chunri and other materials of Mata’s sringaar are offered to mata and makhane, misri, toffee, rewri, git, bhabut and charnamrut are provided as Prasad. The bhajan of Languria are chanted into the temple. People perform the dances by playing nagadas. Devotees after having darshan use to take rounds (Parikrama) around the four sides of the sanctum. At the back of the mandir the sathia of Gobaruse to be made and threads also use to be tied for making wish. Yatri has to cross the exit gate for going outside the temple.

Festivals
The annual fair of Mata has taken place during the month of Chaitra (Mar-Apr). This fair is continued up to a fortnight. It is the main attraction of the temple and is celebrated with great zeal of enjoyment and entertainment.

They also should hire tourist guide in order to have the complete knowledge of the temple including its history. They should also have personal diary in order to express their feelings and emotions, along with the first aid.
