Visit of a delegation from Hochschule Bremen University, Germany at Manipal University Jaipur

A 12 members delegation from Hochschule Bremen University, Germany visited Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) on February 21, 2018. The delegation included Dr. Karin Luckey, Rector, HSB along with senior Professors from Management and Engineering. Delivering his welcome address Prof. G.K. Prabhu, President-MUJ emphasized the need for global exposure and global outlook amongst the students. Prof. N N Sharma, Pro-President, MUJ presented about MUJ’s activities and achievements in teaching, research, entrepreneurship. Prof. Amit Jain, Advisor International Programmes briefed about collaboration opportunities and Prof. Vandana Suhag, Registrar-MUJ proposed the vote of thanks. A MoU signed between Hochschule Bremen University, Germany and Manipal University Jaipur. The MoU between the two universities is meant to encourage the development of the following types of activities:

· Visits and exchanges of faculty, scholars, and administrators in specific areas of education, research and outreach.

· Joint projects in research and curriculum development.

· Organize joint conferences, symposia, or other scientific meetings on subjects of mutual interest.

· Pursue avenues for undergraduate, graduate and professional student exchange during the academic year or summer terms.
