72nd Independence Day celebrated with joyous at in Manipal University Jaipur

“Freedom brings many responsibilities, which we must follow.” These words said by President of Manipal University Jaipur, Prof. G. K. Prabhu. He addressed to students, faculty and staff members on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day celebrations at Manipal University Jaipur. On this occasion, he remembered Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Mahatma Gandhi, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel for their contribution in the freedom of the country. He showed his worriedness for communal discrimination, unemployment, and casteism at present in India. He said to everyone for education, discipline and their contribution to the creation of the nation. During his address he also gratitude to the founder of Manipal Education Group Dr. T.M.A. Pai and other dignitaries including Dr. Ramdas Pai and Dr. Ranjan Pai for their contribution for the continues development of the group inside and outside of India. At the same time, he highlighted on the developmental journey of the Manipal University Jaipur and the upcoming schemes.
At the beginning of the programme, Prof. G. K. Prabhu saluted the flag with the national anthem. Guard of Honor also given by Manipal University guards. After that cultural events, tug of war and various other activities also organized.
Prof. President, Prof. N. N. Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Art and Law, Prof. Mridul Shrivastava, Chief Administrative Officer, Virendra Yadav, Prof. N. D. Mathur, Prof. Kushal Kumar, Dean of various faculties, Director of Schools, Head of Departments, Faculty members and students were present during the celebration.
