The team of Rajasthan Royals represents Jaipur city. The team's owners are businessman Manoj Badale, Raj Kundra and his actress wife Shilpa Shetty. The IPL started in 2008. At that point people thought that the Indian Premiere League would not work. But this started working and now every year across countries the IPL is famous and popular, everybody is glued to it during the IPL season. The Rajasthan Royals was captained by the legendary spin bowler Shane Warne in 2008. At that time this was supposed to be the weakest team in the game. But that very year the team proved itself by becoming the champions of IPL. IPL season 6 is captained by Rahul Dravid.

Rajasthan Royals has a lion as a symbol that is named Muchchoo. Its anthem is ‘Halla Bol'. Halla Bol has been rendered into a song by Ila Arun and has been made into a powerful anthem for the Royals.
