Surya Villa is a mansion converted into a hotel. It has all the necessary conveniences and even though it is located in the heart of the city, it is far from the rush and noise. It was very nice waking up to the cry of peacocks and the koel bird. The hotel has a swimming pool, small, but adequate. Service is a little slow as they don't have too much staff, but you have to make a few compromises if you want a home like atmosphere at a reasonable rate. Also, room service has specific timings, so make sure you get to the restaurant before time or order your food early! They don't have a fitness centre or spa, for anyone looking for those luxuries, so better get your running gear out, if you are looking to exercise! We had taken our parents along with us, and they loved the place with its quiet beauty. The hotel’s pricing is affordable and the hotel services are remarkable. The ambiance of Surya Villa is so welcoming for a person who has never visited Jaipur before, the hotel staff was really polite and the rooms were clean and well furnished.

This property is truly one of the best hotel experiences in the world better than Vegas, Hawaii etc. The service is awesome, the hotels have beautiful traditional designs and furniture, the chef can personalize the food to your preference, the pool is beautiful, the staff is really nice, personable and always ready to help and make you feel special. The Oberoi, Jaipur is conjured out of nowhere like a fairy tale palace.Peacocks parade the grounds and other bright nameless wonders flit from tree to tree. The hotel's peaceful green expanses are the perfect antidote to the chaotic streets of Jaipur.
