‘AYE JAATE HUE LAMHON” a musical concert by Saptak The Musical Octave Group Jaipur organized at Jawahar Kala Kendra Rangayan Auditorium on the wintry evening of yesterday.

The Chief Guest for the evening was Dr Ashok Gupta, Founder, and Director, The IIS Group of Institutions while the Guests of honor were Sh Hemant Shesh, Rtd IAS, a writer, and renowned poet. Dr Raakhi Gupta, Rector and Registrar The IIS University graced the evening as Guest of Honor.

Speaking on occasion Dr Gupta congratulated the artists to showcase the show in the guidance of Surmani Bhaskar Goswami. Dr Gupta acknowledged Saptak for doing a marvelous job by nourishing the artists and providing the stage. He insisted that any form of music needs a lot of continuous riyaaz and it should be made a continuous habit. Sh Hemant Shesh appreciated the efforts of the group and the young artists for knitting such a melodious evening. Further, Dr Raakhi Gupta said that the group is made up of sureele singers and artists and they should come up with such extravaganzas from time to time.

Artists from all over Rajasthan and outside gave farewell in a musical mod to the year 2018 by offering songs of 1960 to date. The singers Pradeep Bhardwaj, Rajesh Goswami, Abhijit Joshi , Ananya Goswami, Purwa Dewarshi, Dr Uma Vijay, Dr. Ruchi Goswami, Prabodh Goswami Prangal Chauhan , Subey Singh Yogi, Anamika Jaiswal, Meenakshi Kaul, Prabodh Goswami mesmerized the music lovers with enthralling compositions of 1960 till 2018.

A special attraction was a hip-pop recital by seven-year-old dancer Shravya Bhatt who compelled the audience to dance to her footsteps. Another feather in the cap was the performance of special invitees Dilip Joshi from Australia and Dr Mukul Tailong from Gwalior who added a different flavor to the show.

The artists of Saptak also paid tribute to the film personalities who left us in the year 2018, but their names were written in golden letters in the arena of Indian cinema.

A special attraction of the evening was euphonious flute recital by Surmani Bhaskar Goswami advisor and mentor of Saptak Group who played Raga Shivranjini based madley. Adding to the melody Songs the cold evening observed classical melodies and soulful numbers of Mohd Rafi, Kishore Kumar, Lata Mangeshkar, Shreya Ghoshal, Kavita Krishnamurthi, Anuradha Paudwal, Asha Bhonsle Mukesh, Hemant Kumar, Kumar Sanu and Sonu Nigam for the music lovers sitting in the audience.

The show was beautifully and expertly hosted jointly by Abhijit Joshi and Anchor Muskan Golash who through their wit, soulful and touching style captivated the audience throughout the show. Co-Director Rajesh Goswami and Coordinator Abhijit Joshi briefed about the future planning and projects of Saptak The Musical Octave Group Jaipur.
