The Weather Department is going high-tech. It was already releasing forecast bulletin of the state before 2-3 hours with the help of Special Radar. Now the Department has formed a strategy to equip state collectors with new facility. The weather information will now be provided through SMS. The Weather Department itself will send such alert massages. Besides this, the weather news will also be aired through FM radio. The Weather Department will implement this facility very soon. After this, the alert of rain, storms and hail except earthquake will be available before time.
