Police Commissioner B.L. Soni said that there is a need for making students aware of the road safety rules in the schools by organizing special classes. He said that over ten thousand road accidents occur in Rajasthan due to lack of awareness. In such situation, it is always better to spread awareness about the issue through schools which are creating future citizens of the country. If students will be aware of the traffic rules, road safety rules of the society will be followed actively. Sony mentioned this in a special meeting of representatives of educational institutions organized by the traffic police at the auditorium of police control room. He further said that it is the educational institutes who create responsible citizens in the society. Soni emphasized on the saying ‘Charity begins from home’ and said that educational institutes should make sure that not a single kid use vehicle without wearing helmet and having license with him.
