A woman was held hostage at her house with the intention of robbery in Sadar police station area on Wednesday. The incident took place at Sheela Joshi’s house. She was alone at her home. Three people came to her house to ask for availability of rented place and she was held hostage by them. The robbers threatened her to kill with a knife and took the keys of her wardrobe. They escaped after taking ten thousand cash and seven grams of gold jewellary. At the time of escaping from the place, the thieves kept Sheela in her store room. The senior police officers arrived at the venue after receiving the information and started investigation process.
