Chaura Rasta will have a different look altogether in coming days. The cleaning-up process of gutter and footpath has already been taken up. The process, which will cost around 2 crore rupees, has been inaugurated by Mayor Jyoti Khandelwal. These subterranean drains exist from the imperial time. They will be cleaned up after 300 years. After cleaning up, the cemented footpath will replace the existing drains. The Trading Community is also co-operating for successful completion of the task.
