The Awards were given in 23 categories by City Palace

On the birthday celebration of late Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh, the then MVC of Jaipur, the prestigious annual awards ceremony was held at the city palace’s pritam niwas courtyard. Every year Maharaja Mansingh II Museum Trust organized these awards and this time the awards were given in 23 different categories i.e. humanity, heritageconservation, medicalsciences, traditionalcrafts etc.  The cash award of Rs. 21,000, Shawl and the miniature replica of  Rajat Kalash (Silver Urn) placed at City Palace’s serwatobhadra Chawk were given. It is noted that last year due to demise of Brigadier HH Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh, The awards ceremony was not organized. The programme was begin with the welcome of royal family members and religious gurus at the stage. At the beginning of the program by members of the royal family garlanded and lit the lamp at the picture of Govinda dev ji, and late HH Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh. His Haines and other members of the royal family presented to religious guru, received their blessing and introduced the award ceremony.
 
Most of these awards were given by His Haines Maharaja Sawai Padmanbhana Singh and some awards by the Queen Padmini Devi Singh.
 
Awards were given for outstanding work in various fields i.e.- King Dullah Roy Award (Mr. Kanwaljit Singh) for services in the field of humanity; King Kakil Dev Award (Mr. and Mrs. Meenakshi Jain Kulbhushan) architecture and heritage conservation; King Pzzwan Dev Award (Dr. Hemant India) in the field of medical science; king Bhagwant Das Award (Sri Satyanarayana Nahata) traditional craft of Jaipur, Raja Man Singh I Award (Mr. Kapil Kant and Mr Deepchand drawn) for bravery; Mirza Raja Jai Singh I Award (Gen. VK. Singh) for distinguished service in the armed forces; Mirza Raja Ram Singh Award (Mr. Daulat Singh Sktawat) for ecological balance and environmental improvements; Maharaja Vision Singh Award (Mrs. Dmendra Kanwar) Travel, Tourism and Museum Development for his outstanding contribution, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II Award (Pandit Satish Chandra Shastri) for astronomy and related sciences; Maharaja Sawai Ishwari Singh Award (Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt) in Performing Arts, Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh I Award (Ms. Nina Singh IPS) in the field of civil defense and civil service; Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh Award (Dr. B. M. Jabalia) History / Literature / education; Maharaja Sawai Jagat Singh Award (Mr. Himmat Shah) in the field of sculpture; Emperor Sawai Ram Singh II Award (Mr. Prakash Bhandari) in journalism, Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh II Award (Mr. Rajeev Khandelwal) given for significant contributions in the field of television and film.
In addition, other prizes are as follows – Maharaja Sawai Mansihn II Award (Ms Shagun Chowdhary) for excellence in sports; Queen Marudhar Kanwar Award (Sri Devi Lal) M.S.M.S. Museums Trust / JPC Trust / Shila Mata Trust; Queen Teen Kanwar Award (green every asylum Bhatt) for excellence in performing arts; Rajmata Gayatri Devi Award (Major Neha Bhatnagar and Captain Deepika Rathore) Excellence for Women; Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh Award (Gem Palace) for excellence in the field of trade and industry; queen Padmini Devi Award (Mr. Bijendra Singh) Royalty loyalty and discipline; Princess Diya Kumari Award (Ms. Apeksha Mittal) youth in education talent; Maharaja Sawai Padmanabha Singh Award (Ms. Apurvi Chandela) provided significant contributions to the field of sports, young talent given. At the end of programme, the director of the Museum Trust, Mr. Yunus  Khimani thanked all.
