After dyeing the ties are opened up and a small circle is formed around the fabric and can be seen as a white splash. This process is known as tie and dye and is used in Chuneri and Bandhej. Jaipur is famous for this. Other works like embellished fabrics with embroidery using thread work, gold brocade or mirror work is also very famous. One of the other famous arts are block printing with vegetable dyes. In this wooden blocks are carved then soaked in different colors and then pasted on the fabric. These products are found in abundance in Jaipur, Bagru and Sanganer. The famous bridal dresses are shows work of metallic and threaded embroidery with Zari, Gota, Zardosi and Banarasi.
