On the occasion of world heart day on 29 September 2021, IIS (Deemed to be University), Jaipur organized an insightful session in collaboration with Eternal multi-specialty hospital, Jaipur. The session was organized to spread awareness among students about cardiovascular diseases and stroke prevention.
The event started with the felicitation of guest speaker Dr. Vijya Gupta (Senior Medical Officer) and Dr.Vijya Gupta(senior medical officer) by Dr. Renu Shunglu, Secretary Sports Board. The speakers acquainted the students with the needs and importance to learn CPR and ways to perform this technique effectively. Dr. Vijay reflected his profound knowledge on the topic and highlighted the procedure and conditions of performing CPR. Dr. Vijay Gupta gave exalting demonstrations of the various techniques of CPR, and also allowed volunteers from the sports department, NCC and NSS, and others to learn and demonstrate the same. Students took active participation and gained practical knowledge. This interactive session culminated with the vote of thanks presented by Dr. Renu Shungloo.
