On September 18, 2016, at Birla Auditorium, a Live Symphony would be organized by a state leading Sankalp cultural society dedicated to social concerns and music. ‘The Magical Burmans' is the theme of this fifth season. Songs composed by the great SD Burman and RD Burman will performed to pay tribute. This Press Briefing provided by Rajesh Sharma, Founder, and Chairman of the Society.

Presentation of 25 songs by the artists of Mumbai and Jaipur, which includes 3 instrumental would be performed to remember the immortal music of SD Burman and RD Burman. Sankalp Cultural Society. Memorable opportunity for local artists to perform with decade established musicians of Bollywood.

Nirmal Kumar Mukherjee, Arvind Haldipur, including Samir Da and Mohammad Yousuf Group of 21 musicians would participate in this program whose contribution immortalizes the music of Laxmikant – Pyarelal, Rajesh Roshan, Sachin Da, Rahul Dev Burman and Bappi Lahiri's. Renowned S Thakur Pratap Singh would coordinate this program.

 “Bhakt Shiromani Mirabai Award – 2016“: Sankalp Cultural Society provides a platform to emerging talent in music and also honors the artists whose contributed enriched the music. This year Amar Haldipur noted music composer and violinist would felicitate by this prestigious honor. With citation, an amount of Rs. 51 thousand will-be awarded.
About Amar Haldipur
He Composed and co-ordinated music with many renowned musicians Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle, Pankaj Udhas and Laxmikant Pyarelal in movies like “Main Azad Hoon,” “Shahenshah.” He has given melodious playback music in around 350 films which include Marathi, Bengali, and Rajasthani. He played solo violin in the song sung by Moh. Rafi “Dard e Dil, Dard e Jigar.”
