Three day Online Orientation Program for new students
A warm welcome to the new batch of Undergraduates
Classes Begin from 9 September 2021
September 2, 2021, Jaipur. A three-day orientation programme ‘Deeksharambh 21’ commenced on Thursday through online mode with YouTube Live Streaming on Zoom Platform for the new students of under graduation programme in IIS (Deemed to be University) to welcome the newly admitted girl students to the IIS family. The new students were briefed about the academic and non-academic activities that take place in the university during the academic session.
On this occasion, the Chancellor of the University, Dr. Ashok Gupta, welcomed all the students and thanked them for being a part of the IIS family. Along with this, the students were informed about the goals, mission, and vision of the university as a center of high learning and wished all the students a bright future and a fruitful journey at IIS. The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. TN Mathur apprised the students about the special objectives, challenges, and opportunities students face when they move from school life to college life.
Prof. Roopa Mathur, Dean, Academics briefed the students about the systems and operations of the university. Chief Protocol Officer Prof Sharad Rathod introduced the administrative officers and faculty members of the university. Dr. Deepika Kaurani briefed the students about the running cafeteria for the students in the university. Dr Radhika Sharma conducted the programme and also cleared the queries of all the new students. Various sessions will be organized till 6th September during the four-day orientation induction program Diksharambh 2021. In other sessions, information about various COSD, Short-term courses, BEC courses, Exam patterns, Assessment, Attendance, Metacampus, Co-curricular Activities, Training and Placements, and the rules of the university campus will be shared with the students.
