Jantar Mantar

The King Sawai Man Singh was the king involving keen knowledge and wisdom with astrology part of the same list. he built jantar mantar to assist the astronomical calculations. It is an observatory which consists of eighteen equipments for astrological studies. Jantar mantar is entitled as India’s proud answer to the greek observatories which is situated in jaipur, delhi, Ujjain, Mathura and Varanasi.

Birla Temple

Birla temple also known as Laxmi Narayan temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his wife Goddess Laxmi. The temple was build by Birla group associations in the year 1988 below the hills of Moti Dungri temple. Birla temple is the best example of architectural importance built with white marble stone. The temple is furnished with beautiful lavish sculputes, museum, and mythological themes with fortified walls explaining traditional events. Enjoying sun set sitting in the big and beautiful garden of the temple acts like a cherry on top of the cake.

It is said that during the reign of Aurangzeb, the idol of Lord Shri Krishna shifted from Vrindavan Dhaam to jaipur and consecrated at Suraj Mahal of city palace in the year 1753, where it is right now. The temple was built by Sawai Pratap Singh 2, a devotee of Lord Krishna. Govind Devji temple has an equal importance with respect to other ancient temples in jaipur sharing the glimpse of heritage and architectural importance.

Jal mahal is known as the eye-popping make over monument in jaipur. This palace is situated in the middle of the ManSagar Lake in Jaipur whch was renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by the king jai Singh II. Across the Lake, one can view the aravali hill which is furnished by the beautiful temples and historic forts on Jaipur. Jal mahal is the most attracted place as a palace under water is not seen anywhere in the world which shared the old royal customs and traditions of Rajasthan.

Hawa Mahal, the wind palace

Hawamahal is famous for its beautiful architecture of medieval age which is sitated near the residence of jaipur royal family, i.e., city palace. Hawamahal was built in 1799 by king Sawai Man Singh, and designed by Lal Cand Ustad. The monument was designed keeping in mind the arid climate of the city. It was designed in such a way that cool breeze flows continuously inside the palace even in hot and dry weather. Because of specific scientific principle the hot winds transforms to cool winds when contracted.

The architectural design involves around hundreds of small sized windows which helps in maintaining a cool weather inside the palace when the royal families used to visit Jaipur and stay here.

All these monuments are the royal examples furnishing the beauty of Jaipur with pride honours and diligence.
