Mayors of the state met on the common platform. They unanimously demanded to increase their powers. The tussle of power between CEO and Jaipur’s Mayor had its effect on the State Mayor Council. In the council, four mayors were trying to find solutions for their problems. The demand of keeping the CEO and other officials under Mayor was made strongly. Jaipur Mayor Jyoti Kahndelwal was elected as Chairman of the council while quota mayor Ratna Jain was elected as General Secretary
