Alva arrived at Jaipur; Swearing on Saturday

The newly appointed Governor of Rajasthan, Margaret Alva, arrived at Jaipur on Friday at 4.30. Due to protocol, she could come out of bogie at 8 in the morning. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, Chief Secretary, Cabinet members, police administration and military staff officers reached railway station to welcome Alva. Margaret Alva has been awarded with the Guard of Honor on this occasion. She is the first Governor to have reached to Jaipur through railway. Margaret Alva has been accompanied by her husband, Niranjan Alva, and ADC of Rajasthan and Uttarakhand. She will take oath on Saturday at 5.30 PM at Rajya Bhavan.
