Farewell marks a vital juncture in the students' lives. The Management, staff, and students of Maheshwari Public School, Jawahar Nagar, bade adieu to its outgoing batch of Class-XII in an illustrious Farewell Fiesta on 7 February 2025.
The school was festooned with decorations. The ceremony was gratified with the revered presence of the esteemed members of ECMS, Chairman Sh Kedar Mal Bhala, General Secretary (Edu), Sh. Madhusudan Bihani, Hon. Secretary CA Amit Gattani, Building Secretary Sh. Sumit Kabra, Principal Sh Ashok Vaid, Vice Principal Sh. D.D.Pathak and SMC members. The day's chief guest was Sh Shyam Das Malpani, and the guest of honour was Sh Rajesh Gagrani. Both are eminent businessmen and dedicated social workers. The day started with the kindling of the ceremonial lamp in the Saraswati temple, followed by school prayer.
The programme commenced in ‘Takshshila', the school auditorium. The dignitaries were given a floral welcome with a shawl, memento, and saafa, and they graced the day with their benign presence. There was a welcome address by the Hon. Secretary of the school. He wished all the students good luck in their future endeavours. The luminaries extended their heartfelt blessings to the students for their future endeavours, encouraged them to uphold the values instilled by the school, and wished them success. They emphasize being compassionate and grateful and celebrating life with whatever they are blessed with.
Each one walked down the lane of memories when a group of teachers sang melodious & heart-touching songs, bidding farewell to them, which left everyone teary-eyed. The hearts melted, the eyes glittered, and the students enthusiastically participated in a short cultural programme. The pick of the day was the skit organized by the students in which they showcased some valuable messages for the prospects of their lives. It was a blend of humour and emotions. There was a scintillating dance performance where the juniors enthralled the gathering with rhythmic dance steps. In his address, the school principal encouraged the students by saying not to compromise with their principles and appealed to them to carry the legacy of MPS. He presented a Good Luck card to the Head Boy & Head Girl as a token of love and remembrance. There was a benediction to the Lyceum and a symbolic sapling of the school, which was handed over, signifying the continuous growth of knowledge, values, and strong roots in life.
The Head Boy and Head Girl delivered an emotional yet inspiring speech, reminiscing about the unforgettable memories shared within the school. They profusely thanked their alma mater for providing them with innumerable opportunities to shape their personalities. The musical orchestra mesmerized everyone with its melodious aura. The students had a gala time gyrating to the rhythmic beats of the mellifluous renditions and performances. The event was concluded by a vote of thanks by the Deputy Head Girl, followed by the National Anthem and a sumptuous lunch. The ceremony was a poignant and memorable event. It left everyone with lasting memories, gratitude, and hopeful aspirations for the future.
