Jaipur National University, Jaipur came into existence in the year 2007, and in 2008 the University got approval to the desired programmers under clause 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. In such a short span, Jaipur National University has made a niche for itself in the country because of its commitment to providing quality education and a conducive learning environment. The University has demonstrated high standards of teaching and research. Highly qualified and experienced faculty adorns its classrooms. The University has thrice been voted among top 20 BT schools in India by Bio-spectrum.
Vision: – The focus is not just on education, but also on the development of necessary skills to confront the challenges of life. We believe in complete education. We teach the students to think logically, judge critically & communicate clearly
Location:-The University is situated close to the centre of the city and the airport. One can reach the University from the main Railway Station and Central Bus Stand within half an hour, is a well connected with all minds of transport systems.
Courses offered:-University offers a wide range of Undergraduate courses and Postgraduates courses and it also offers Distance Programs; Engineering, Life Sciences and Applied Sciences, Management, Pharmacy, Commerce, Literature, Computers , Education, Media and Journalism and Nursing.
Life at Jaipur National University:-The thrust at Jaipur National University is to ignite the young minds to understand their obligation to their communities, to be more human and compassionate, to ensure that their action are so directed as to promote the welfare of all. International Internship and Research: – AIESEC is a global, non- political independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education.
Training and Placement cell: – Students have been recruited by many companies like Infosys Technologies, IBM, Wipro InfoTech, TCS, Pratham Software, Intecons, Libsys Ltd, Johnson N Johnson, Fullerton Securities, Reliance Communication, Religare, Deutsche Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank Ltd, Panasonic and many more. The university hosts many mock interviews, group discussions to help students learn to handle the stress of the moment. Many industrial visits and seminars and career workshops are conducted from time to time.
Academic Collaboration:- The university has many tie ups with different international universities, like CREMA Clinical Research Education and Management Academy, London School of Business Management.
Accommodation Facilities: – Jaipur National University has excellent hostel facilities that provide “A home away from home.” Nearly 2000 students live in hostels, and at the beginning of 2011-12, the number of resident students is likely to go up to 2500. The hostels are well-equipped with an air-cooling system. Mess facilities are excellent. Along with the hostels, facilities of cafeteria, stationery shops and ATMs are also available.
NKN Project
Jaipur National University is one of the premier institutions selected by MHRD for connectivity under National Knowledge Network (NKN). The NKN is a state-of-the-art multi-gigabit pan-India network for providing a unified high speed network backbone for all knowledge related institutions in the country. The NKN is a platform for delivering effective distance education where teachers and students can interact in real time. Network enables co-sharing of information such as classroom lectures, presentations and handouts among different institutions.
Every year the University procures the best of the gems of the country, to achieve higher goals and enlighten the name of the country.
