The IIS University (IISU), Jaipur is a cosmopolitan and vibrant deemed-to-be-a-university and is amongst the first thirty eight universities in India placed under Category ‘1’by the ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. It is known for excellence in imparting meaningful education to students and to encourage them to think innovatively. It particularly focuses on empowering women to face challenges of life with confidence and also provide creative leadership in times to come through its credo of “Inspiration, Innovation and Synergy”.
The Women’s Cell of The IIS University is organizing a two-day National Conference on “Women Empowerment: Strategies and Interventions” to be held on 09-10 March 2018. The Conference will witness delegates in the form of academicians, researchers, students, entrepreneurs, industry experts and NGOs from all over India to discuss and share the success graph and life stories of the women of India.
This Conference is an attempt to portray the changing face of today’s women who are excelling in all fields with confidence and poise. Their stellar contribution as entrepreneurs, educationists, lawyers, media professionals, cab drivers, pilots, medical practitioners and the like is ample evidence of their grit and determination to take on life’s challenges and use every available opportunity to its optimum. The Conference would thus act as a harbinger of change as the deliberations during the sessions would unquestionably bring out the essence of what it means to be a woman in today’s world.
