Rajasthan Government equipped to Instigate Air taxi service

The Government of Rajasthan is geared up to launch an air taxi service that connects the most important tourist spots and commercial areas in the state. The Rajasthan government is equipped to commence an air taxi service which will lend a hand to link major industrial and sightseeing spots in the state. Rajasthan has 2 planes and airports are practical in Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur. At the outset, these 2 airplanes will be equipped with a capacity of 7 passengers both as Air taxis and cost a minimum price of 10, 000 INR per traveler. The stipulation is that the air planes will only fly when all the seats are booked. This exclusive air service will not only chop down the time it takes to arrive at the chief destinations in Rajasthan but will also protect the voyagers from appalling roads of the state. Mr. Kishan Singh Verma, Director of Civil Aviation, Rajasthan has told that the scheme has been given approval by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and the Government is more or less ready to maneuver the state planes for the Air taxi service. The Government also organized 5 Seater “King Air C90 A” and 7 Seater “King Air B 200” for the Taxi service. The planes are employed for the movement of the CM, Governor and other VIPs who visit the state of Rajasthan. The airfare for flying in the 5 seater planes would be 50,000 INR per hour whereas it would be 70,000 INR per hour for flying in the 7 Seater aircraft. Above and beyond, the airfare for night hold, ground handling, Extension of ATC watch hour are applicable as well.

Minimum 2 hours are needed for the booking the Air ticket. The service will assist tourists to break off their travel time by flying to different destinations including Ajmer, Jaisalmer, Ranthambore, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Udaipur and Chittorgarh. “The proposal is to enhance the tourism prospects and making an exclusive facility accessible in the state. The service would also create profits for the Rajasthan government. Also, the officials are confident that this proposal will get a good response.

Another official of General Administration department notified that bookings for Air taxis will be mutually performed by “Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC)” & “Civil Aviation Department”. Private agents would also be lined up for booking purpose at the final stage. Rajasthan is famous for of its citadels and palaces, culture, heritage, sand dunes and abundant forests, flora and fauna. This state creates center of attraction among millions of foreigners and local tourists each year. The state has well-designed airports in Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Udaipur, a few defense-managed Airports including a lot of Helipads and Airstrips.
