Ring Road project will be given the same speed as the Metro Rail project. The State Government will wishfully implement the project at the decided time. Special officers will be appointed separately. Urban Development Minister, Shanti Dhariwal, who came at the initiative of the journal Urban Development gave this information on Friday. Dhariwal said that the Ring Road project will be as important as the Metro Rail. JDA will take possession of the project land within 2 months. Officials have been provided with the instructions about it. They will organize a sitting regularly to check the status of the project-work. Special officers will be appointed to plan the plots of compensation, to provide camp belts to account holders and to bring development in the field of account holders. These officers will look after Ring Road project only.
